I’ve just spent two hours with trying to make some new sounds with Phase Plant, and digging its presets to see if I can learn some nice tricks. It has been a while. Phase Plant was a great choice, it’s very pleasant to use.

BTW, it’s exactly the need of such “try to understand things more deeply” sessions that explains why I think we should minimize our artistic toolset.

Finally, my V60 coffee equipment is complete 🙂 Got myself a Hario Buono and a Hario Range Server. Having a gooseneck kettle matters a whole lot, with this, I can control the flow of the water much better and the entire experience is more pleasant.

BTW I’m the weird guy who makes lattes (and latte art attempts) even from V60, such are the requirements around here 😂 For this, I bought a smaller frothing pitcher, because I only had a bigger one that was not too pleasant to use when you wanted foam for a single cup, and I rather do ours one by one, the results are better that way.

A perfectly random Volca Sample midnight techno jam. Who knows for how long the poor little guy collected dust, I tried to remember how it works.

On Tuesday, we visited the Baobab Coworking Oasis. We had to run some errands in Budapest, and really had to find a place suitable for some focused work - here, we found it 🙂 It had cozy vibes, there was plenty of people to give the place some nice buzz, and the entire thing was built very well and fitted with nice equipment (we could certainly use such kitchen equipment near the our home office 🤣 ). The host, Graham, was very nice and helpful. For a first visit, I felt myself quite comfortable. Time passed quickly and productively there, in a few hours, I managed to write a decent amount of code for a fairly complex feature.

Oh, and of course we had the opportunity to meet the relationship manager of Baobab, Mango:

We will likely visit again.

I don’t follow news / social media nowadays too closely. One of the benefits of that is running into such surprises like this:

Yes, the Oblivion remaster is here.

I wrote a blog post about the original game 18(!!!) years ago (in Hungarian). Let’s see how deep this rabbit hole will go this time.
